Many of you love “ON THE AIR” activities and events, well here is a new one

ARCOTA Amateur Radio Clubs On The Air.

Promoted by the LEICESTER RADIO SOCIETY

The aim is to encourage Radio Clubs / Societies and their members to get on the air.

Launched over the weekend of 23^rd -24^th of March 2024. NOW ONGOING

All bands using any mode including SSB, CW, FM, RTTY, FT8/4 and other digi mode. 6 options.

A station can be worked on six modes per band.

An award being available with the following rules:-

Open to all licenced amateurs and SWLs.

Club stations 10 points,

Club Members 5 points.

The Club Calls of the Leicester Radio Society G3LRS G5UM G2AA G6XRS 20 Points each and our members 10 points.

A station may be worked on any band and up to 6 different mode for points but same band / mode would be a duplicate.

The Awards

Bronze 100 points further levels are available as follows:-

Silver 250  Gold 500  Sapphire 750  Diamond 1000

callsign, date, time, band or frequency, mode, club, club station or member.

An electronic award will be return after checking.

A great opportunity to promote your club and its members.

ARCOTA will be an ongoing activity after the launch weekend so plenty of time to chase / activate club calls and members.
