G4PDZ Frank reported that the plumbing had now been completed and a special arrangement had been made with Jaybeam for the supply of parts to restore the TB3 beam.
G3TQF Geoff proposed, G4LRO Roger seconded that the Society should not purchase 70 cms equipment at present.
G4PDZ Frank proposed that the society should negotiate with the City Council for a ten year lease and risk an increase in rent in return for security of tenure, this was rejected in favour of a proposal to purchase a piece of land with a view to building club
house in the future, by a majority of committee.
The date of the next AGM was decided as Monday 21st January, 1985
at a venue to be decided.
