As Leicester Radio Society will be celebrating our 110th anniversary in 2023. We are planning various events, we have applied for the callsign GB1LRS to use throughout August 2023 with a 'launch' scheduled on 5th August.
In addition to running stations there are other activities that could take place. Such as food, i.e. Buffet, BBQ, Bring and Share. So if you have ideas of activities etc. to make the weekend go well please let us know.
Also it is hoped to run the GB1LRS call between 5th and end of August on numerous days, also on Monday club nights. this of course depends on members volunteering to come to the club to operate/log/make drinks etc.
